— How a pour goes

Four steps. No surprises.

01

Walk it

We visit, measure, and check where the water goes and whether a truck can reach the pour. You leave with a written price — no obligation.

02

Prep

Tear-out and haul-off, grade to slope, compacted base, forms set and steel tied. The part nobody sees, and the part everything depends on.

03

Pour

Ready-mix on a booked window, screeded, floated and finished — broom, stamp or wash. Joints cut the same day or the next morning.

04

Hand over

Cure treatment, forms stripped, site swept clean. You get a card with the exact dates you can walk on it, park on it and seal it.

Rain and cold move the dates: we don’t pour into a forecast that won’t let it cure. We would rather move a day than hand over a slab that spalls in two winters.

— One family, two trades

The concrete side of CJM.

CJM Concrete is the sister shop of CJM Metals — same family, same standard, same phone number. They build the gates, fences, carports and railings; we grade, form and pour what those sit on. When a job needs both, one call covers it.

Doing both at once? Say so on the estimate form — we schedule the pour and the steel together so neither one waits on the other.
